Envision Cooperative is looking for a full-time Energy/Equipment Salesman to be based out of the Mohall Office Building. This position will provide and promote Energy & Equipment products and services to customers in a manner that will optimize the cooperative’s market share and savings, improve the cooperative’s efficiency, help achieve the cooperative’s mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service. This individual will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.

This position will provide and promote Energy & Equipment products and services to customers in a manner that will optimize the cooperative’s market share and savings, improve the cooperative’s efficiency, help achieve the cooperative’s mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service. This individual will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.
Some responsibilities include:
- Execute sales plans to achieve sales goals and increase profitability through the implementation of sales, marketing and consulting processes for products and services.
- Maintain delivery schedules to customers in a manner which will result in increased satisfaction.
- Facilitate positive long-term relationships with suppliers and customers to create long term repeat business.
- Prepare sales presentations, contacts, bids, and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions.
- Stay knowledgeable in all product updates and apply knowledge in all aspects of the job.
- Clear all major bids with your supervisor.
- Keep all customers supplied with product and encourage repeat sales.
- Document and maintain records of customer information.
- Handle customer complaints in a respectable manner and report all complaints to management.
- Evaluate current customer programs and develop sales and marketing plans and programs to meet complex business needs while growing the business.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, distribution, operations, and credit to heighten the visibility and impact of sales calls and improve efficiency and profitability.
- Take sales calls as they come in.
- Visit patron farms to engage with customers and promote the products and services we have available.
